SUPER SLUG WITH NO APOLOGIES
What I have accomplished so far today: Woke up Karin and sang happy birthday to her and gave her her presents, with Anders & Martin, and kissed her goodbye (she left this morning for a week in Gothenburg at Gothia Cup). One load of laundry that didn't really need to be done. Unloaded the dishwasher. Put some recycleables in their bins. Watered all the house plants. Made the bed. Showered & dressed, ate breakfast and lunch. Read the end of the book I was re-reading that was taking me forever to finish. Played numerous games of stupidity on the iPad. Watched Tour de France for awhile. Made Martin wash and change his shirt. Watched rain come down. Admired the purple of the lavender under the bedroom window. Napped on the couch. Talked briefly to my brother. Listened to music. Wrote this post.

Still on the agenda: Dinner, at some point. More reading, this time of the sequel to the book I finished earlier. More games of stupidity. Watching the World Cup final. Maybe a walk now that the rain seems to be letting up and the sun is peeking through.

Sometimes, a super slug day is EXACTLY what the doctor ordered.

I love SLUG days! They are my favorite! But it still seems like you did a fair amount. I was up early this morning so we could leave by 7:00 to get to Katie's softball tournament. We were there until after 3 and home by 3:30, then I went directly to Nicholas' hockey game. I got home around 5:00 and told my husband that I didn't want to make dinner, or do the sink full of dishes. I instead read my kids the next chapter in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. My husband did the dishes and made dinner. I ate it. (I guess I made some guacamole for said dinner.) He then proceeded to do most of the dishes. He took Sarah to play golf, and I read another chapter (or two...) of Harry Potter. I did three or four dishes...one was a PAN though...and then read ANOTHER chapter before coming to bed and checking my computer for the first time today. Is this slug status? I don't know, I am awfully tired for it to be a slug day, but nothing much got done!

Re: From Megsie

That was not a slug day for you, not with all the running around to kid things! But it was a pretty good slug EVENING! Washing PANs is hard, haha!

Yes!

It doesn't sound like much of a slug day to me - but it DOES sound wonderful!
