NOTHING NEW
Still having pain and tingling in my arm, shoulder and hand. Been to the naprapat once, going again for two more treatments, this week and next.

Still waiting to hear from the FAFSA, and the other two colleges that Martin has applied to.

Still having anxiety attacks about money, especially since we paid Martin's housing deposit and first housing down payment this weekend. Cashectomy, indeed! OUCH.

Still enduring winter: snow last week, now rain rain rain

Still crazy at work, though we are managing to keep up by the skin of our teeth. However, found out today that I have five 5-year-rollover vacation days that I have to take before April 1st. And just missed sportlov...figures! So, I'm probably going to be taking every Friday in March off. It's a hard knock life.

Still working on never-ending weight loss and healthy eating. Still getting back to walking. Still waking with headaches. Still reading and obsessing over art on Instagram. Still keeping the house clean and the laundry done.

Carry on.

It sounds like your pain and tingling is more complicated but G's doctor has him taking vitamin B12 for tingling in his fingers and he has found it to be really helpful. Could be worth trying in addition to the naprapat.

I wonder why B12 would help... did he say?

I think he had blood work that backed up the doctor's theory that the tingling was caused by a B12 deficiency and it has definitely gotten better since he's been taking a supplement. That was his only symptom, though a bunch of others are apparently also related to B12. http://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/vitamin-b12-deficiency-can-be-sneaky-harmful-201301105780

take care of yourself!
and let the house and laundry be, just once in a while. a little temporary dirt won't kill anyone.

HAHAHAA. My house is full of permanent dirt, it's just TIDY. :D

I am so sorry about your shoulder/arm/hand pain. There is nothing worse. I have been so swamped at work that I can hardly see straight. I am in bed now, trying to sleep. You are too interesting. Maybe the next blog will be more lull-worthy.

xoxo

Re: From Megsie

Now I know you are too tired to see straight if you can call me interesting after this post! hahaah!

I am hoping the best for you with your health! Will this be the first leaving the nest for college? Along with the financial issues, the emotional aspects add a whole other set of worries.

Yes, Martin is the oldest and he is not just leaving the nest, he's moving halfway round the world! Aaaugh.

But at least your Mother will be delighted to have him in her "neighborhood"! Not that you haven't done the same! (I know that doesn't ease the pain) But just think, maybe we'll see more of each other. Love and HUgs! Lizardmom

We could hardly see LESS of each other! :/

Looks like there will be many flights in your future! ;) Hang in there, it is a really tough time and at the same time so exciting to see your loved ones take flight. From what I remember you've established such a strong relationship with your son that his journey will take him miles away but the connection you have will always be present. Hoping you rest easy and content.

miss you!

hope you're feeling better. miss your posts!

Re: miss you!

Thanks! Nice to know I am missed :) i am trying to. Inimize my computer time this month drastically to see if it makes any difference with my arm. :(

Re: miss you!

have you considered seeing an orthopedist who specializes in upper extremities? (i'm speaking from personal experience here.) you might have something impinging on a nerve, similar to carpal tunnel syndrome. it's worth a shot. constant pain drains the joy from your life.

Re: miss you!

Already done, scheduled for an MRI next week :)
