Did you just bake of a batch of these most delicious, drool producing favorites of mine???? Makes me think I want to do that! Love, Lizardmom

No, but ozswede was raving about them to a mutual friend the other day, and I promised the recipe, plus John and I were talking about them tonight...Simone made them too not long ago...so I might have to make them tomorrow. :D

Margarine!!!!!!!!!!

*tears hair out*

I could use butter, couldn't I? Yeah. *wink*

Re: Margarine!!!!!!!!!!

Of course! The recipe actually calls for "oleo" ...have at it! :D

Re: Margarine!!!!!!!!!!

Oleo, gosh, it's been a while since I heard that word. The only place I've ever seen it is in a community cookbook from Texas that was sent to me by a friend. Which has a really good recipe for some kind of cheese and broccoli rice dish I used to make. I think we'll have it for dinner, with brownies for dessert. :)

Oleo? *lol* My grandma still calls margarine oleo. I thought she must be the only one. Anyway, I orginally clicked comment so I could call you a very dirty name, but not as dirty as the name I called a really bad driver who kept stopping at green lights. Don't you know I'm on a diet? I've been sooooo good. . . but I'm sick. . . brownies. . . need them. . . now. . .

Blame blue_eyed_girl! It's all HER fault! SHE got me started!!

::swoons just reading the recipe::

drooooooooooooooling

There goes my hips :)

off to copy & paste in my cookbook.

Re: drooooooooooooooling

They were scrumptious! Really well worth the extra weight for the satisfaction. And I don't even like chocolate.

O... they sound so insanely delicious that it's making me FURIOUS! Furious that i do not live in Sweden where i could sidle up to our door and beg and plead and make ultra real pathetic noises and have Finny work you over with her patented liquid look of doom (ie. really sad eyes) until you relent and make us a batch!

Hungrily, wee

P.S. just in time for the monthly chocolate cravings!!!

HA! You see! Astrology is ALWAYS RIGHT! hahahaha!

Oh. My. God.

(except the margarine part)

But..."yuh um." Trying to sound very California. If you actually were from Cali, I wouldn't have to phonetically spell it, but since I know you're not, I want you to have the full effect of my reaction.

I would happily gain 10 kilos (did you see that? I wrote KILOS, not pounds) to be able to eat these everyday.

Kilos, pounds, what-evah! Yuh-um is right :D
