We were going to go go-carting for our team-building activity this afternoon on the 2nd day of our off-site meeting, but the sun was shining, and Malmö Festival was in full swing, and we were running late, and no one really felt like go-carting, so we ended up deciding to ditch it and go shopping in the late afternoon instead,...except that I went back to the office and worked for 2 hours instead.

We were going to take the kids and go down to Malmö Festival tonight to eat festival food and cotton candy and walk around and see the fireworks, but after dithering about it for a bit and talking back and forth with Anders and the kids, I fell asleep for 2 hours instead.

Shout-Out to Writers! If you write poetry and would like to submit your work to an wonderful online 'zine, Mosaic Minds is looking for submissions! The theme is "Just a Little..." but only feature articles need to follow the theme, so for poetry anything goes! Short notice for submission deadline: Thursday, September 1st to

My to-do list at work has 32 items on it. My to-do list at home has 15, not including cleaning in any shape or form...a negligence for which I will pay dear once the dust bunnies attack. (Bunnies. They're everywhere. They're the new black!)

I feel so boring lately. Work-sleep-work-sleep is not making for any scintillating journal entries. Is it Blog Depression or is it just fatigue? I really can't keep blaming the poor little soft and furry bunnies.

I need sushi. Yeah. That's it.
mood: tired
music: Indigo Girls—Watershed

Yeah that's It!!!! Me too!!!!

I want to Sushi with you.

Keep your perspective on Fatigue.....It shall pass, or morph into Exhaustion. : )

Love, Beeg Leetle seester

As long as it doesn't lead to burnout, collapse, lassitude, prostration, tiredness, weariness, debilitation, enervation, faintness, feebleness, weakness, languor, lethargy, listlessness, sluggishness, slumber, stupor, torpor, apathy, inertia, or passivity, I'll manage.

I wanna sushi with you, too!! :(

Ahhh, sushi. The perfect solituion to most of life's troubles. :) Such an exquisitely beautiful food, no? So, Mosaic Minds, huh? May I ask how you're involved? Or should I know from studiously perusing your site? :) I'll submit something, perhaps, though that always scares me. A commitment on a new level..

And btw, I LOVE Bunnies. I once had a gorgeous rabbit--from when I was 11-16. His name was babbit. He ate bananas, grunted, was house trained, came when he was called, and would hump anything in site including our feet or our cat, come spring. But man, he was just the best little guy ever. So no more dissing rabbits, now, ya hear?

I'm the Poetry Section editor, so you can say you have an "in." :P

I love bunnies, too (when they're not eating my brain), but I will never have one again. I had a big beautiful velvety soft all-black rabbit after college. His name was Ebony, but we pronounced it "eh-bunny". My sister had rabbits too when we were growing up, black-and-white Dutch ones and then a beautiful Siamese-cat-colored one. Ebony was even litter-boxed trained, but they are all just shit machines. :D

ironically, another friend just posted of her fishy lust that was striking.... she needed sushi! She is in Seattle, WA... I wonder if it is something in the airwaves? It has not caught here yet.... but as I glance down I suddenly notice the huge package of Nori sheets I recently purchased and have not put away... hmmm. visions of sushi dance in my head!

What a day... I would vote for fatigue being the cause since that is what I have been pleading as well for 3 weeks now.
I should check out hte poetry thing~!! Thanks...
wishing you a peaceful weekend!

(oh look I just yelled out water - waht the heppy does that mean!!)

Well, a little note, did you get the poem left in the other journal entry, and shall you be using it. And under the penname Dyvan is fine ;)

I took one poem, the one title "Just a Little", but I am waiting for the editor-in-chief's final approval. I don't anticipate any problems, though :)

Lyssnar på: Indigo Girls—Watershed ..... WOW!! I am so happily surprised to see that you listen to Watershed! The song "Indigo Girl" was our wedding march song! I bought the CD for Daniel when I met him online and I wanted him to have some music that I enjoy. We both love the song and that´s why we used it as our wedding march. Watershed is a South African band and unfortunatly I never got to see them perform live, but I love their music! You have just stepped up 10 notches in my "people I like book" lol.

P.S. See you Tuesday evening at AWC!!

I really hate to step down 10 notches again, but the band I was listening to was Indigo GirlS, and the SONG was called Watershed. BUT, I'm going to go check out YOUR band now :)

Keep the 10 notches, you make it up on being an inspiration to me. (I have to adopt your "to-do" list)
