I agree! She was the only one of the 28 songs that was good. We have to tape the final on Saturday because none of us will be home to see it!

I saw a picture of Peter Andersen, the Danish drag artist wearing "normal" female clothes and an appropriate wig. He looked much more believable than in that garish outfit. As many people said, transvestites and transsexuals have already been done in the ESC, so you can no longer count on getting votes out of sheer thrill. He did sing better than most other transvestites so far, but the outfit and a boring song worked against him.

I'm mostly sad for the sake of Andorra missing the final. I'm also a little bit sorry for the horrible stylist the Moldavian girl must've hired. She looked a bit like an Xtina (Christina Aguilera's former sexy image) lookalike, just that it didn't look sexy, just stupid. If I remember correctly, she wore something like a white blouse and jeans in the video, and they probably should've worked out an outfit from there.

A few of the other participants had their clothes improved from the former performance. While the Portuguese girl still sang out of tune (like almost every Portuguese entry the last five years or so - don't they have voice coaches in Portugal?), at least she had been awarded a somewhat decent dress, if one is fond of knee-length bright white dresses.

over here, they are showing it on Saturday night, so I shall have to wait till then to watch. Of course here it is looked on as broadstroke comedy, with the most interest in what over the top puns and old comedy material Terry Wogan can wheel out.

This was the semi-final. The actual song contest final is on Saturday.

I couldn't watch all of it. LOL! And wow has it become East European song contest... Saturday will be a nightmare that way, during the voting. Haha.

I couldn't either. I kept walking away, and then I gave up after Hungary (that was the only one I liked and I was sorry to find out this morning they didn't make the cut).
