Seriously. Two weeks and I am not done with a paperback. That's insane. There goes my plan for beating my books-read-in-a-year record.
On the bright side, I only have about 6 pages left and I have the biggest, gigandimundo pile of NEW BOOKS to read that I'm practically slavering.
Slavering is so messy.
Want to see the list of books I bought? This is the list. It does not include the 2 books we bought for Karin (TWICE. MOM! You bought them TWICE. AND...you packed them TWICE. Hrm). It also does not include the 7 or so books we bought for Martin. (Karin got other stuff, so don't think she got gypped)

I have also been up for approximately 3 days straight, despite dozing for 4 hours on the plane and am actually only moderately sleepy. I hope that means that I will sleep all night and not wake up at 4 a.m. Haha! My optimism! It is to laugh. Much like my optimistic plan to finish Mark Twain's Autobiography on the way TO Boston and leave him behind for some other lucky reader.
I have so much to write down for remembrances. But I am glad to be back. Also, I miss my mom. Already.
