500 ALBUMS

Well, I used to be a musically ahead-of-my-time girl and was so cool that most people had never heard of the hip, happening artists on my CD shelf, ahem. Obviously, that was back in the day. Looked over Rolling Stone's list of 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, and while I've got lots of mixed tapes/CDs and greatest hits of the artists listed, but not the original albums...it made me realize how much of a Greatest Hits Collections girl I am, heh. I've got compilation CDs up the wazoo. Love them. Can't get enough o' them best of beauties.

And even if I don't have those original best albums of all times by classic artists,

ABBA, America, Joan Armatrading, B-52's, Beautiful South, George Benson, Buckwheat Zydeco, Jimmy Buffett, The Carpenter's, The Car's, Chicago, (adolescent in the 70's what can I say?), Lloyd Cole & the Commotions, Albert Collins, The Corr's, Marshall Crenshaw, Culture Club, Thomas Dolby, The Doobie Brothers, Dana Dragomir, The Eagles, Earth Wind & Fire, Erasure, Gypsy Kings, Joe Jackson, Elton John, Kansas, King Crimson, BB King, Lynyrd Skynyrd (it's Anders', I swear), Madonna, John Cougar, Alison Moyet, Naked Eyes, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, The Piano, Prince, Povel Ramel, Roxette, Santana, Simon & Garfunkel, Split Enz, Squeeze, Steely Dan, Style Council, Styx, James Taylor, Ultra Vivid Scene, Wings, XTC, ZZ Top (Anders again).
